De Opdracht betreft de ontwikkeling én realisatie van een concept voor de vernieuwing van de eerste verdieping, het zogenaamde ARhuscafé, van het bestaande kenniscentrum ARhus gelegen in het centrum van de Stad Roeselare en zoals heden geëxploiteerd door de vzw Het Portaal.
Kenniscentrum ARhus is een innovatieve en betrokken organisatie waar kennisdelen, ondernemen, verbinden en vernieuwen centraal staan. ARhus zet in op geletterdheid in de breedste betekenis van het woord. Zowel op sociaal, economisch, digitaal en cultureel vlak alsook op vlak van o.a. gezondheid wil ARhus mensen geletterd maken én houden. Hiervoor zet ARhus in op samenwerkingsverbanden met partners uit de zorgsector, het onderwijs, de academische wereld en het ondernemerslandschap en is aldus een pionier in Vlaanderen. ARhus ontvangt jaarlijks meer dan 350.000 bezoekers.
