The overall aim of the present framework contract is to provide DG ECHO with an emergency management service support on a time and means basis.
In this context, the contractor shall provide:
— support staff to be integrated in the Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC), operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
— support staff for the emergency preparedness analytical sector,
— support staff for the emergency preparedness training and exercise sector.
On the basis of the support to be provided and the tasks to be fulfilled, the number of staff for which the service of the contractor could be solicited is estimated at a maximum of 25 people.
The place of assignment is Brussels. The contractor and if applicable the subcontractors will have to comply with any applicable Belgian labour laws and regulations.
